- One of the primary reasons for selecting to live in a continuing care
retirement community is the assurance of quality lifetime health care
services. At Foxdale Village, health care provisions have been well
planned. The strength of Foxdale's health care plan is based upon a
continuum of care. By this we mean providing appropriate health care
services in the most viable setting for the resident's well being. Health
care services include an outpatient office, home care services, twenty-four
private personal care rooms and thirty-two private skilled nursing care
rooms. The focus of all health care at Foxdale is in encouraging an
optimal level of health and independence for residents.
Foxdale will include nutrition as an important keystone for maintenance
of good health. When needed, provision will be made for medically prescribed
diets. Thorough health care records will be maintained for all residents.
Decisions regarding health care will be resolved in a cooperative manner
involving residents, health care staff and physicians.
Education and prevention are essentials in the provision of health care.
Physician care will be available on a regularly scheduled basis. Support
systems for health care include a Foxdale pharmacy, a physical therapy
department, and 24-hour emergency service.
