Foxdale Village welcomes Alex Ramos to the second floor art gallery. The show and reception are free and open to the public.
Using small brushes, careful color selection and abundant patience, Alex Ramos executes lifelike depictions of things we encounter on a regular basis often without contemplating their details and intricacies. Subjects range from the organic, such as fruits and vegetables, to the manufactured, such as glassware and pottery. Paying careful attention to nuances of color and the interplay of light with different surfaces and materials, these still life paintings constitute a meditation on the beauty and complexity of the world around us.
Visiting hours are from 8:00am – 5:00pm weekdays and from noon until 4:00pm on weekends, January 7 – March 23, 2025. The opening reception will be held on Sunday, January 13 from 3:30 – 5:00pm.
